Zug, 12 October 2025 – The Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles in Zug conveys its warm congratulations to President Patrick Herminie on his election and expresses confidence in the continued stability, progress, and prosperity of the Republic under his leadership.
The Consulate also extends its appreciation to outgoing President Wavel Ramkalawan for his service to the nation and for his contribution to the strengthening of Seychelles’ democratic institutions.
According to the official results released by the Electoral Commission, Mr. Herminie received the majority of votes in the presidential run-off, held from 9 to 11 October 2025.
The people of Seychelles have once again demonstrated their dedication to civic participation and respect for democratic institutions.
The Consulate wishes to commend the Electoral Commission, all participating institutions, and the citizens of Seychelles for ensuring a free, fair, and orderly electoral process.
